Although the cost to educate each student is approximately $14,000 per year – which includes books, use of personal computer, breakfast and lunch – Don Bosco Cristo Rey High School is committed to making a high-quality, Catholic college preparatory education available to qualified students who could other-wise not afford a private high school education.
Students earn 60% of the cost of their education through our Corporate Work Study Program. Scholarships cover 25-30% of the cost. These scholarships may come from individual donors, foundations, government funding, corporate giving or other initiatives. The remaining cost of the student’s education is the family’s responsibility. This amount ranges from $1,000-$2,500 per year ($100 to $250 per month for 10 months), based upon the family’s financial situation.
