Admissions Criteria
Thank you for your interest in becoming a student at Don Bosco Cristo Rey High School and Corporate Work Study Program (DBCR). DBCR offers a Catholic college preparatory curriculum to students in the greater Washington, DC area who have limited financial resources. All students participate in a distinctive Corporate Work Study Program. In addition to the traditional aspects of a college preparatory curriculum, the Corporate Work Study Program allows the students to gain professional work experience.
A Don Bosco Cristo Rey applicant should be:
- Highly motivated and mature
- Employable and hardworking
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Open to Catholic religious values

DBCR accepts a limited number of transfer students for the rising 10th grade class. Each transfer student’s application is unique and each case is given special consideration. For more information, please contact a member of the admissions team.
